The marginalizing of US Vets and Troops over the last decade and beyond is no secret, their poverty levels and suicide rates have skyrocketed to all-time highs with what seems like diminishing assistance from current limited resources. This sad state of affairs, along with extreme gratitude to those that serve has inspired OpticsPlanet.com over the past few years to take up cause for our Troops, and Law Enforcement as well.

 

History of OpticsPlanet Dedication to Troops:

Starting in 2015, OpticsPlanet.com created a campaign to raise charitable donations for service members and their families – called Gear Up for a Cause. It was a campaign that featured special offers and sales events designed to raise a charitable donation and awareness for Hope For The Warriors®. In 2017, the donation goal was $50,000, with a minimum of $20,000 guaranteed in donations.

Continuing the tremendous support, in addition to the yearly Gear Up for a Cause campaign, in 2016 OpticsPlanet’s Operation Gift campaign partnered with Operation Gratitude to help send more than 3,000 care packages to members of the armed forces serving across the world.
