The one on top has a Sig arm brace which the ATF has ruled makes it still a pistol since even if it’s used as a stock, it’s not a stock. The one on the bottom is a stock. I wonder if someone couldn’t make something like the one on top for a Glock
Agreed! I’m tempted to get myself an AK pistol and an AR adapter to mount the brace
Of course, the intelligent thing for the government to do would be to get rid of the SBS/SBR registration BS, but that would require common sense which appears to have been outlawed by executive order

There was a triangular arm brace/stock that was floated as a means to bypass the ATF SBR/machine pistol regs. several decades back but it was strapped to the forearm and not Farfenuggen so it died. Other types have been equally disappointing

I believe the pistol with the removable stock is considered “Any Other Weapon”, not a rifle.

Yep. I’ve heard good things about the Sig arm braces. Don’t have a AR pistol so I’ve no need to try out one myself.
I do find it funny that the one that looks like a pistol is classified as a rifle and the reverse.
