Teaching The Kids The Right Way

Richard Mann is doing things right. He’s not only introduced his son Bat to firearms and hunting, but also passed on the responsibility to teach others.

Richard has an article in the March 2012 edition of Rifle Firepower about triggers. He also worked out a deal where his 11 year old son could get some publication, in the form of an 11 year old’s perspective on the topic. Bat did his own work and gets a cut of the pay. I find it foolish that Bat’s school has such a stringent zero tolerance policy on firearms that prohibits him from showing off his published article at school.
