Shots Fired at Coast Guard Recruitment Center

Prince William County police say shots were fired overnight at a Coast Guard recruiting station in near Washington, D.C.

Police say they are investigating multiple bullet holes at the building on Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge.

Sgt. Kim Chinn, spokeswoman for the Prince William County Police Department, said Tuesday it appears the shooting occurred overnight.

No injuries have been reported.

It was not immediately known if this incident is related to other recent shootings at military-related establishments.

The FBI’s Washington Field Office is investigating. But the agency says it’s unclear whether this incident is linked to other recent shootings at military facilities.

In four separate incidents last month, shots were fired at a Washington-area Marine Corps museum, the Pentagon and a Marine Corps recruiting station.
