New York Times About to Put American Troops in Deadly Peril
The New York Times is preparing to go public with a list of names of Americans covertly working in Afghanistan providing force protection for our troops, as well as the rest of our Coalition Forces.
As a man that has friends serving in active duty overseas, I would hate to see any more of them killed than need be. Personally, I think that they either need to go in to Iraq and Afghanistan full strength and steamroll over all the bad guys, or we need to pull these men and women in uniform home. Either give them the tools to do the job, do it right, and do it quickly, or bring them the home if they’re just going to stagnate and not be able to do the job efficiently. We’ve got more than enough problems back home to deal with if they are going to have their hands tied while in the field. Don’t even get me started on the rules of engagement…. An Army man told me not too long ago that he was unable to open fire on insurgents even though they were firing artillery at him. Due to the rules of engagement set up by bureaucrats in DC. Let the commanders in the field make those decisions.
